I generate iPSC-derived models to study neurodegenerative and infectious disease mechanisms in human cells. By differentiating stem cells into specific cell types, I recreate vulnerable disease environments in vitro. These models reveal how α-synuclein aggregation, lysosomal and mitochondrial dysfunction, and Lewy body–like inclusions emerge, providing a platform to investigate pathology and test therapeutics.
